The Empty Box Company Rescues the Vicar

The Rev. Michael Brierley, vicar of the market town of Tavistock, Devon was caught out last weekend.

Michael, now Canon Precentor of Worcester Cathedral, was visiting his old patch in West Devon to take a special service, and forgot his dog-collar!

Not to be defeated, he contacted The Empty Box Company in Milton Abbot, who were only too delighted to make an alternative dog-collar from the white acid-free board used to make their Wedding Dress Boxes & Hat Boxes.

James Teague, Managing Director of The Empty Box Company said ‘We have been asked to undertake all sorts of projects, recently including displays for Harrods, Wig Boxes for Eastenders; but never a dog-collar. It took a bit of working out as the shape is rather unusual. Michael drafted a design and we were only too happy to oblige.’

The Empty Box Company often make bespoke boxes, and are happy to undertake anything unusual if at all possible!
